Everything apart of the social world is gendered. Expectations, ideas and different forms for men and women. Distinguish between man and woman and evaluate and assess them in different ways. It matters whether you are a man or woman in terms of everyday interactions. Religions give rules for what genders do what. Toys can find out what gender the toy is for through commercials. Language in terms of swearing (how we speak: i. e. the he being the universal pronoun. Genres of entertainment movies, tv shows (chick flicks, action), books. Strong assumption around that most of these above differences, these come from our biology and our genes. This appeal to biology gets us to look at neurological and cognitive studies. Boys and girls neurologically are not the same at birth. Men and women differences are not just coming from the realm of the social world, there are biological differences. These differences at the beginning are incredibly small.
