Social construction is the process that makes sex diff seem large or small, important or unimportant. Women do certain things becuz of society and whats society says woman shud be or how they shud. In societies that have low birth rate, fertility declines and that dramatizes the gender differences act. Max weber defines domination as the probability that certain specific commands(or all commands) will be obeyed by a given group of persons. Ex of dominance: parent child relationships, employer-employee relationships, teacher student relationship. Domination is a power relationship in the sense that one person is getting more out of it then the other person. You obey your teacher your teacher gains the power. Ppl obey bcuz they have an interest in doing so, or at least think they have an interest. Usually there is a belief in the legitimacy of the actions of the dominant individual or group.
