Research design starts with a plan, we should determine what we are going to observe and then analyze how and why. In research design we must consider 2 things. Must specify clearly what we want to find out. It occurs when the subject of study is relatively new. Description: describe events or situation, researcher observe and then describe the situation. Explanation : to explain things, usually answer the question (why) 1-to satisfy the curiosity of researcher for better understanding. 2-to test the feasibility of a more extensive study. 3- to develop the methods that can be employed to other studies exploratory studies are source of {grounded theory}, this research is also be conducted though focus group or small group this technic is usually used in market research. Description: usually qualitative studies are aimed at descriptive studies. They just describe a social happening but not explain why observed patterns exists.
