He maintained theology a science because it is no confined to theoretic knowledge, but practical, such as ethics, (cid:449)hi(cid:272)h pro(cid:448)ide (cid:374)or(cid:373)s for (cid:271)eha(cid:448)iour. The ai(cid:373) of aristotle"s ethics was to make good ppl out of us (ut boni tiamos) Theology has a similar function as ethics does: the aim is to prepare humans to achieve salvation. More specifically theology is for preparing for salvation on a supernatural/transcendental level.
