Cusa"s universe is not infinite, but it is also not finite - the universe lacks boundaries within which it is enclosed , but it is not infinite because it is not from itself , only god is from. Himself - cusa creates two concepts of infinity to assist. Privative/contracted infinite: should naturally have limits, but lacks them (our universe) The universe is the expression of the divine enfolding, because god, who is eternity itself, could not be made, that was made which could be made, which would be as much like god as possible . The center of the cusan universe is wherever the observer is (relative center), and the circumference is the observer"s observable universe - cusa likens god to an infinite sphere . God is an omnipresent and omnicentric infinite sphere, whereas the universe is an infinite sphere with no center.
