Refusal to believe or acknowledge a threatening thought. Unacceptable behaviours or thoughts of behaviours that nullify actions with later action. Attribution of own disturbing or unacceptable impulses to another person. True id impulse expressed by target changed into more acceptable one. Changing id impulse into something more acceptable. Rejection and keeping something out of consciousness.
