What do you look like as a positive speaker: sincere, honest, hopeful. If you are going to move, let your eyes move you (this will make your movement look intentional); look first in one direction, and then step towards that area. Intensity show care and credibility, do not be monotonous, vary voice and be engaged. Humorous appeal you can use the group dynamic to attempt to lighten a mood. Vital appeal relate topic to examples to common experience, meaningful to all, Novelty tell a story, use novel phrases, especially when the topic is familiar. Startling appeal relate to audience, use interesting facts and statistics.
