Chlamydomonas are more related to plants than to animals (plants vs. zombies: chlamy is more like plants, yet it can move and have eye(spot) kind like a zombie plant that moves) Relationship between genome size and protein coding genes. The genome size of chlamy is bigger than e coli, yet way smaller than humans. Yet the amount of functional pcg of chlamy is not that smaller than humans. Which means chlamy must have its genes packed more densely and with less junk than humans. (human like the fatty who eats burgers and shit all the times, while chlamy is like a skinny bitch, small but fit. ) Eyespot just directs the flagella to move in relation to light: Flagella has plasma membrane wrapped around it, (like a condom)
