Athletes foot: dead skin exposed (fungal grows a release irritating metabolite) As chews on dead skin, flakes off (filled with spores), treat with cream. Tinea unguium: onychomycosis, fungi under nails can spread from skin. Dandruff: by fungus malassezia, grows on scalp oils which flake off can cause. Treat antifungal cream: candidiasis: yeast infection, growth of yeast, before 2 months age get immunity from breast milk invasive and can move to intestines, subcutaneous: fungi that gets under skin. Chromoblastomycosis: local infection on skin following entry of agent. Mycotic mycetoma: rare, associated with lack medication (tissue/bone eaten) Sporotrichosis rose gardner : scratch growth through skin: systemic mycosis: once inside travels through system. Histoplasmosis: lung infection, n2 rich soil, fungus airborne and breath in.
