Athletic nudity: athlete means someone involved in a prize, agon means a meet/competition, agony (physical pain in the competition, gymnasium means nude, gymnikos agon means naked competition, none of the above is found in other cultures. Origins and purpose of nudity: originally wore cloth, had a wardrobe malfunction and the runner won, it caught on, spartan invention, to ensure equality in competition, self-advertising or sexuality, not exactly sure why. Infibulation: tie the foreskin and double the penis back on itself, could be decorative.
