Early settlement inhabited continuously from early helladic to the late helladic period (2800-1100 bce) Large prehistoric tumulus in the center of the sanctuary. Early religious cite with evidence of sacrifice, clay vessel, and an altar built. High percentage of drinking vessels, such a kylikes, found in the black stratum of earth near tumulus. Vessels dated to 11 century (100"s bce) this indicates sacrifice and ritual.
