Neolithic age is from 10,000- 5,000 bc: no greeks in the neolithic age, bronze age is when well focus on the greeks. 4th millennium bc = between 4000 and 3000 bc. 1st millennium ad = between 0 and 1000 ad. This is the modern world europe and middle east (pic: includes modern turkey, greece, italy, britain, spain, and north. River floods allow for very fertile land and access to transportation for trade. With all the metals they found in this area they made swords for trade and combat. Greece also had modern day turkey or aka anatolia under its control. Compared to near east this area was different from east because of its landscape which allowed for different resources.
