We certainly see that Penelope is every bit as causcious as Odyssey is. She gives him three tests
in order to identify him. She keeps asking him who he is and he keeps delaying his true identity.
There is a relationship between a narrative and a textile. You can keep putting off the ending by
using subplots, but sooner or later a story has to get to the end. She keeps asking him at the same
time who he is, he keeps lying and he does it so well that the lies seem like the truth. He needs to
actually start recovering his identity.
