The end result of devaluing art is the death of the artist. He is both simultaneously art and artist. No way to step past your own views. The artist"s true responsibility is to imagine a way past themselves. To imagine a way to be an other. Might be impossible to truly imagine, impossible to truly love. He has to fast, he has no choice. A true artist has a compulsion to create. Not necessarily a happy one they just need to do it. Some artists are under a compulsion to create, obligation to create, addicted to their art and creative act. The world has an essential lack to it. Made this lack his point of origin. *art is a response to something that is missing* He responds, and the result is death.
