Thinking saves criticism from anger, brutality, pettiness etc. Thinking: considering what is relevant, to make appear . Considering : bringing things together to make an articulate image. The word thank is part of thinking: thinking is generous. If we didn"t have memory we wouldn"t be able to organize. No distinction between art and criticism absolutely connected. If you simply engage in creation (thinking) were still missing a crucial element: creation repeats. Criticism refreshes; we should not view thinking as simply creation, we should also think of it as criticism.
