Androids- their ability to act and appear down to the smallest details human. Robots were tools, machines for doing things humans couldn"t or didn"t want to do. Robots ask problems about the prosthesis, the tools and our relationship to them. What happens when little by little we do less and less and our machines do more and more. Will the machines make us over time so dependent on them that we become their children . Androids are not only tools, they are life forms in their own rights, they have dreams. What is the criteria for distinguishing a human. Now this distinction is not as clear as we might hope. The difficulties of establishing criteria for knowing our world. Intellectual problems, dramatic devices to establish the difference. The ability to feel empathy is what distinguishes what makes us not the same. Empathy- the capacity to recognize and identify with the emotions of another person.
