11/18/2013: one of the few that men are asking people to look at them and look at their bodies. In both cases there"s pushing to the limits to achieve a certain look. From then until today that"s become the pattern. Muscles, not 15 years ago the symbol this form is now the norm : roughly by the 70s the shift takes place and musculature becomes normative. Shwar says the same posing is pure theatre. I understand that and love it. my body has always been dramatic . Idea that body building is about the look, not health: velvet carpet like the cars on display in a shop. To this day freaky is the highest compliment one bodybuilder can pay another . They know that they look strange: androgynous. They are paranoid about looking freaky but they keep pushing the limits to look more freaky. They are aware that they look different but they embrace it.
