It is the financial and banking center for china trade, a world class city, with a per capita income on a par with europe and the united states. Less eye catching, but impressive, are hong kong"s public housing and new town programs. One of the most populated places on earth, hong kong is a city that works. It is difficult to find specific articles to fit the needs of any particular course. The one that i gave you above is fair background reading, but a bit technical. Read it for information, but you will not be tested on it.
