Document Summary
When we travel we have intentions of where we travel (has significance to us) or we travel to any random space. Space and place: space: generic and something we can all relate to and all understand, place is something individual and a specific and might have meaning to us and might not to others. Travelling to what we can become or get away. Going towards something and discovering potentiality or looking to get away from our daily lives. Tourism is the active utilization of gateways of discovery to expand ones engagement with the world. The location itself doesn"t change but we the people who visit change it is us that discovers. Sometimes we learn consciously and we choose a space or place to explore, experience and linger within. Other times, our learning is quite by accident: we learn despite ourselves, or from the unanticipated, the unexpected, and the unknown.
