Two types of travel are intentional and accidental. It"s not how far we travel, nor where, what matters is the state of mind. Every trip is unique and every trip has historical dimension for example, food eating greek food in greece. Traveling is a vanishing act, where you consciously experiment with space and time. The difference between a tourist and a traveler is that a tourist always has a ticket home they"re limited by time and cost: tourists are contained, partly for the benefit of the locals. Giorgio morandi [said: one can travel this world and see nothing, to achieve understanding it is necessary not to see many things, but to look hard at what you do see. The learning objective of this course is to stretch your (my) mind.
