When we"re much older and the kids have left, we now have a lot of time and money but don"t have the constitution. Overwhelmingly, majority of tourism is organized mass tourism. Wants to go somewhere where it"s safe and familiar. Want to be away from home but not inconvenienced. Use place (hotel) as safe base to venture out of. Scorns travel bubble and wants to be somewhere w/o tourists. Want to mix with locals and actively speak the language. Not a drifter if can get there by direct flight. Need to use local transportation w/ only recognized tourist on bus. Like to see things that are different but like to see things that agree with their views. Canadians as a source of visitors to the us.
