Between ice ages, the global climate was at times slightly warmer than it is today. The concern today is not the actual temp, its the rate of temp change. Lower sea levels at that time exposed the bering land bridge: all of canada was covered with ice 18, 000 yrs ago (except for northern yukon) It is said to be that indigineous people in canada came from siberia. There has been a rapid rise in temperature over the past 100 years.
