The goal of this assignment is to deepen your understanding of the problem of food waste and suggest actions to address it. You will apply research and analytical skills to produce a persuasive and concise policy brief aimed at a real branch of government. You will be evaluated based on the depth of your analysis, the extent to which you use evidence to support your suggestions, and the quality of your writing. In the lab, watch the documentary film just eat it (2014, 73 min). Take notes on the key points and discuss them as a class.
