Is a colour image produced by assigning a colour to each of the pixels of a scene and optically or digitally superimposing the result: basically giving each colour a numerical value that will represent it. Bsq the whole first band is displayed as a code. Bil the first line of the first band, connected to the first line of the second, to the first of the third. Bip goes by one pixel from each band. Spatial resolution is a measurement of the smallest angular or linear separation between two objects that can be resolved by the sensor. Another resolution representation is the pixel size on the ground. For example, the spatial resolution of landsat tm band 1-5 is 30m x 30m.
