The city is organized by channels of communication and transportation (ex. roads, canals, airports, with rules and regulations (ex. speed limits)). City life unfolds in the spectacle of the streets. Defence requires slowing down the enemies military assault/repelling invasion (provided by enclosed cities) In the modern world, the city has been displaced by technologies of speed and power.
