True believer in the free market system (markets work best when interfered with the least) Spent 2008 telling people that everything is fine, the system is ok. Honest fellow, but so blinded by his ideology that he didn"t realize there was a problem. Does not understand the economic problem at all. Planned to run as a transformative figure who would take the country past the toxic bush days, past the race divisions, and give everybody free healthcare. Also does not know much about the economy. His mom spent most of her time going to school and studying. His father abandoned the family and went to kenya. Barack had a difficult life, abandoned by parents, raised by grandparents . Found his way to harvard, columbia via scholarships. Then worked his way up to senator etc.
