Women"s sexual interest not a priority - ignored. Free men in greece had lots of sexual freedom. But men engaged in sex with many women usually prostitutes. Hetaerae (plural) : single women often taken on as mistresses of men - not low class prostitues - de ned beautiful educated beautiful women. Best status wife of free man - best class was hetaerae - wined by rich men.
