Revolutionary transformation in ideas: about physiology, understanding anatomy, knowing the differences between men & women, all ideas that were understood before this point were rendered outdated. The emergence of the modern medical understanding of genitalia & sexuality. A revolutionary movement of intellectual & political change. This period can be summed up with 5 ideas : there was a new emphasis on human autonomy!!!
