February 29, 2016: england under siege, invasion literature, the battle of brockville, the battle of los angeles. Not so much paranoia, but just good thinking. Where panic is real, but no invasion. A threat of invasion, but the panic doesn"t occur. There have been other attempts, but none successful. Their defense is the water barrier against invasion. 3 occassions where threat of invasion was especially grave it looked like britain was weeks/days to being taken over. In none of these instances, there was no wide spread panic. English came to hate and fear the catholic church. Attributed plots to take over england to anyone who was catholic. Anti-catholic hysteria was behind public panic conspiracy theories for a while. They were trying to return england to the true church just in a different way, not undercover.
