Everything in the modern world has become a conspiracy it results in paranoia, relatively mainstream. This makes people think they are the centre of the earth, instead of god. Before the enlightenment, people blamed divine retribution. You can just blame anyone and not worry. Tend to have the most gap in hierarchies, between rich and poor. Where the rich are getting rich, and the poor are getting poor. The assumption is that the working class, or indigenous people are uneducated to know any better, and believe conspiracies more often than not. A plot to blow up england and kill the king. It was stopped before it caused tremendous panic. Caused the anonymous mask, in resemblance of guy fawkes. He wasn"t trying to move society forward but backward, trying to make it restrictive. Panic follows catastrophic events, or nothing happens at all.
