Dutch/albany fur trade: grew out of initial settlement at fort orange (now albany, new york, still important, but not as important as french and english trade. English trade: more worried about colonizing and settling, agriculture more important, started trade with delaware people, 1664 english and dutch fight, english take over the albany trade, also included the hudson bay trade.
