Women right movement: all over europe and north america. She revealed that these women were unhappy and depressed: seeing psychiatrists, alcoholism, taking prescription drugs. It was only declared illegal that a husband could rape his wife in 1983. Main concerns of the feminist: right for women to have control over their own bodies, regarding how to dress. If women could take bc: access to abortion, access to health care, sexual preferences. All this largely white middle class women, they were still classist and racist.
