Was a very lively, happy boy they didn"t see it coming. 1 million people commit suicide every year. 4000 people a year die from suicide each year (10 per day) Mental health is the number 1 health concern and cause of suicide. Mental health is hard to talk about due to the stigma surrounding it. Cant be determined on the basis of symptoms alone. You can be sad and feel anxious while still be psychological healthy. It is the absence of mental sickness. Having a general sense of self identity. The presence of mental wellness positive and broad. Why don"t we study what health looks like to develop a mental health philosophy. When urgent needs are satisfied, less urgent needs can be satisfied. Realism knowing what you can and cannot change in this world and with yourself. Acceptance accepting yourself and others, accepting your own self worth.
