Registered massage therapist can have any different titles. Skills: physical stamina, manual dexterity, empathy, business skills. Have to be able to promote yourself. Responsibilities: perform massage to treat soft tissues and joints of the body, assess clients by conducting a range of motion and muscle test, can suggest home care instructions such as stretching, etc. Education: undergrad degree is not a requirement you can have a ontario secondary. They can be offered by community colleges and private career. Once your in the program you need: Have to complete 150 hours of supervised clinical experience. There are 27 schools in ontario that offer massage therapy programs: have to become a member of the college of massage therapist of ontario by passing the registration certification examination. When successfully completed, the college will email you an eligible to apply for registration notification.
