They diagnose and treat patients" neuromuscular-skeletal disorders of the spine and other body joints by adjusting the spinal column or using other corrective manipulations. Chiropractors take patient"s medical history, examinations, perform x-rays and other tests to come up with a diagnosis for the patient. They give patients advise on exercises, posture, lifestyle and nutrition. Skills and responsibilities: provide holistic body care, provide natural, drugless and non-surgical treatments that rely on the natural body, some chiropractors use water, light, massage, ultrasound, electric, acupuncture, and heat therapy. Education: 2. 5 gpa, they need to get a doctor of chiropractic. There are only 2 colleges in canada that offer the graduate program for the doctor of chiropractic. It can take 4-5 years in the graduate school.
