Muscles of the pelvic girdle and lower limbs part ii. Medial thigh muscles- adductor muscles- adductors of the thigh, growing muscles, attachments, often pulling muscles from the region. Obturator externus is part of this muscle group. Attaching to the border from an external point of view, inferior see the obturator internus. Contribution of the obturator and femoral, obturator is the dominant n, include all of these muscles in the adductor regions- adductors of thigh. Gracilis- pubic crest and down the medial side of the thigh to the goose"s foot. Pectineus- couple nerves innervated (dominant n)- originates from superior pubic ramus and inserted onto the linea aspera. Adductor longus- right beside the gracilis- attached to the pubic crest, insert to the linea aspera. Adductor brevis- same function as longus, originates off the inferior pubic ramus and inserts on the linea aspera.
