The following ssp table lists the sum of squares and products for vocabulary level and age in a sample of 23 young children. Vocabulary level was measured using the peabody picture vocabulary test. is test of receptive vocabulary consists of a series of cards. Each card has four pictures on it, and a child is asked to point to the picture that depicts a target word. The cards are ordered in terms of the acquisition difficulty of the target word.
