Policy being written is one thing: whether it is actually being implemented is a whole other issue. Think of a topic you like and answer a question you have about it. The canadian health system will be more effective and accountable if its major stakeholders (i. e. governments, governing bodies, managers, providers, etc. ) understand, share and use a common set of overarching principles to guide their actions. A good health care system is well governed, high performing and accountable to the public it serves.
