Singles strategy: keep the ball in play/in the court. Keep it simple and make time for yourself: placement. Hit cross courts so the opponent needs to run around to get the ball. Backhand, eg. high top spin to a backhand hardest to come over high ball because it comes short: short balls. Tennis has many styles of play because the court is bigger: baseliner likes to rally, run, good at ground strokes, not the best server. Most women: serve/volleyer dying strategy. Most famous is mcenroe, navitolac: all court player plays all court, good at everything, can rally, play at the net, deep. What determines it: body size, coach, siblings" technique, skill, background, culture, idolized. Surface (the tennis court is standardized and it is the same size) the energy of the court dictates your style of play and how the ball reacts to the court.
