Document Summary
Fmri: takes pics of the brain, lets us see which parts of the brain correspond to certain functions. Cortically blind: leashon in the occipital lobe, unable to process the visual information: none. Lesion in the left superior lobe; might see deficit in monitoring and regulating movement on the right side of the body. Right parietal lobe lesion can cause left neglect . Tms: trans cranial magnetic stimulation, can help with left neglect. Tms has helped allow for both sides of the brain to communicate equally. Neglect: what she sees is different than what goes on in her brain. Blind sight: essentially guess or see the stimuli moving, the stimuli are dynamic (need to be moving)
