Spatial numerical association of response codes (SNARC
effect)
- SNARC effect is mostly for people who are
english or spanish speakers, who
have a mental numerical number line (horizontal,
left to right)

experimenter will flash numbers
on the left or the right of a fixation cross. People
will have a shorter reaction time for the 1 on the
left side instead of the 8 because 1 is early in the
