Visual informaion does not provide an accurate target representaion for any period of visual delay. Propriocepive informaion provides an accurate esimate or target locaion for up to 2,000 ms of delay. Moved hand from staring posiion to poining at a target and back, and asked to point in that respecive direcion either immediately, or ater a delay of 1, 2 and 10 seconds. Immediate and 10,000 ms delay had equal accuracy. Propriocepive memory is more stable than visual memory (up to 10,000ms) aka when acivated by propriocepive queues instead of visual queues. Extrinsic coordinates (where you are in relaion to an object in your environment) Since we have to constantly work with our changing environment, visual queues are stored in a second-to-second basis and it more cogniively-draining.
