A little test (case study: gordon sisters boxing (may 6th 1901, silent movie of two girls in dresses boxing, what might someone in 1903 think. This is scandalous (girl spins her dress to make it fly up) pirouette: why are we laughing at this video. We must have some idea of sports, that this does not match. We all have different opinions and assumptions about this sport": picture of 4 older women, or a picture of the controller panel for a treadmill. The most difficult things to talk about are those things that we take for the most granted. The more we use them, the less we even see" them. The things that seem glaringly obvious, these are the toughest ones: about what should we ask questions, questions. About our own reactions to what we saw.
