Gene modification is feasible + effective a. b. c. d. Usage on children - need parental consent for children to have research done on them. Scientistcs argue that we should be germ cell therapy as well. Challenge is that future generations are being dictated by choices of this generation generation. Why sport is a focus w/ gene therapy + doping. Sport is about winning, getting better and using the best possible means. Enormous rewards + pressures in sport (amateur to elite) Need 90 to 100,000$ usd and 2 post-doctoral students. Blood-formation - increase blood flow to exercising tissues. Inject into the muscle - produced epo enters blood stream, stimulate bone marrow to produce more red blood cells - delivery oxygen more effectively to tissues.
