Think of the human body - its a system with interrelated and inter dependant parts that when working together, unify"s a whole. different body types are better at different skills also. Human body is also an open system which means its susceptible to changes in the environment and can adapt to these changes. Smaller systems within a system (respiratory system) City rec in control of arenas, sporting elds. Arena manager in charge of refrigeration, employees etc (boundary of each system) Areana manager isn"t concerned about how much rain the soccer eld gets. The set of forces and conditions that are beyond an organizations boundaries, yet effect the systems ability to acquire and use resources to create value. In a tennis club, its the competitors and attitude of the community.
