Test only in 1 position- flexion* because lcl is 5th in stability on lateral side. Can slide leg to side of bed. Hands change positions upper hand on inside of knee, lower hand on lateral malleolus. Stabilize the thigh with upper hand on outside with thumb medial to vastus lateralis. Grasp proximal tibia with lower hand, thumb near tibial tubercle. Apply a gentle anterior force in same plane as joint line towards your chest. Acl more violent test therefore do last on tibia.
