Bobo doll experiment similar where adults would be violent to the doll and the kids would reflect the behaviour and act the same way. Literal imitation experiments from love and tenderness to violence. The behaviour they witness determined their own behaviour. A picture is worth a thousand words. modelingto be one of the most powerful means of transmitting values, attitudes, patterns of thoughts and behavior. (bandura, 1986) We see this in everyday life, we pay attention to the visual cues and actions. Body language and non-verbal communication is more powerful than verbal communication. We spend most of our day in a non-verbal state and people process how we behave; therefore, modelling can be quite powerful if so much information is conveyed through body language. The acquisition of skills and behaviour through observation (mccullagh & weiss, 2001).
