Steps in job analysis: review background information, choose sources of job information, gather job information, develop job descriptions and specifications. National occupational classification: a database that provides a standardized source of information about jobs in canada. Gives each job type a four-digit code, which tells us the type and level of skill that you need for that job ex. A good place to check before beginning own job analysis.
