Drafted a treatus 1600 first part and 1603 on artusi: the imperfections on modern music received a court appointment in 1590 in mantua. Published first set of songs at 15. 1598 goes to fenora, performed madrigals that weren"t published. Cruda amarili, everything artusi hated was in the first 14 bars. Have to prepare the note properly, but monteverdi does not do this. Cruda amarilli is the first madrigal in the groups published in 1605. The perfection on modern music was his treatus. 1607 his brother goes to battle with this, giullio ceasere is his brother"s name. Words to make mistress of the harmony, follow the mean and mention of the words. 1608 he"s in rough shape, trying to find a great place to work to create quality music.
