3 factors for an adequate health care system: affordability: cost that can be managed by the population, sustainability, equitable access inequities: resource is not shared equally, water, money. State of complete physical and mental well-being and not only the absence of disease. An area of research, study and practice, and is trying to improve and achieve equity for the people world wide. Global health is concerned about the health issues that transcend borders, and look at the determinants of health across borders. It requires international cooperation: hiv, sanitation, poverty, education, malaria, global warming, malnutrition, lack of access, cardiovascular diseases, tuberculosis, measles, slavery, genital mutilation. Levels of global health (when we are talking about global health, we are also thinking of our own location) Provincial: (cid:862)ontario"s action plan for healthcare(cid:863), nearly half of diseases are preventable, we have too many people in the emergencies, when they should be going to the places in their community.
